Sweet Vermicelli

Sweet Vermicelli for Lunch Today Sounds Delicious! Visit Us In Store For All The Ingredients!


  • 1 Tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Cup of Broken Vermicelli
  • 2 Cups OR 500ml of Milk
  • ¼ Cup Sugar Add More If Desired
  • ½ Tsp Cardamom Powder
  • ¼ Cup Milk Powder Can Skip If You Dont Have
  • 10-12 Raisins Optional
  • 4 To 5 Slivered Almonds Pistachios, and Cashews (Optional but HIGHLY recommended)


  • Heat a pan and melt the 1 tbsp ghee.
  • Add 1 cup of the broken vermicelli .
  • On a low to medium flame/heat, with frequent stirring, roast the vermicelli till they become golden.
  • Add all the chopped nuts and raisins. Stir them nicely.
  • Lower the heat and pour 2 cups of milk. Instead of milk you can also add water. We prefer the richness of the milk.
  • Stir and mix very well. Then continue to stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add ¼ cup of sugar. Keep stirring the mixture.
  • Add ¼ cup of milk powder. If you do not have milk powder, then just skip it. Mix again
  • Sprinkle ½ tsp cardamom powder and stir well.
  • The mixture will start thickening and the Vermicelli will also begin to absorb milk. When all the milk has been absorbed, switch off the stove.
  • Serve hot. You can also serve with a pour of Nestle Dessert Cream


**Quick Tips:
-Keep all the ingredients ready. Break the Vermicelli and keep aside.
-Chop the nuts and place aside.
